Andre Agassi revenged his last defeat against Sampras as he beat him 8-5 in the final of the Champions Series event in Las Vegas. The victory was even sweeter as he played in front of his homecrowd.
In the semis, Agassi defeated Jim Courier 6-3 and Pistol Pete dismissed John McEnroe 6-4.
Agassi is now in second place in the rankings, 800 points behind Sampras. There are three more events to go.
