Here we go, starting another year of records tracking.  Alexandre Simoni and Jorge Aguilar both made it to the quarterfinals in Sao Paulo after going through qualifying.  Aguilar managed to pick up 2 losses after being a lucky loser.  They each get 6 matches to start off the year.  The next bunch of players won titles or at least reached the finals...they have 5 matches.

Winning Percentage
It didn't take long for Roger Federer to find his way to the top.  He starts off 2006 undefeated again after winning in his first event in Doha.  There are 5 other week 1 titlists along with Andreas Beck who advanced once with a walkover.
