Matthew Smith was the only member of the top 10 who played in India F8 last week (the only event on the schedule).  He reached the quarterfinals which put him just short of becoming the third player of 2005 to reach 100 matches.  He moves into 3rd.

After some consideration, I have decided to count the Doha challenger which begins Dec 26 as 2005 rather than 2006.  So there will be one more records update on Jan 2, 2006.  That will be the final list of 2005.
