Gabriel Moraru of Romania rose to a tie for second place with semifinals appearance in the Brasov challenger.  Fellow Romanian, Victor Ionita moves into the top 10 after his fifth title in a row.  He won the Brasov challenger after taking four futures titles in a row.

Roger Federer finished off his US Open run with another title.  That's 9 (!) on the year.  He remains behind Henry Adjei-Darko but Adjei-Darko just lost his first round match at USA F24.  Mexican Victor Romero makes an appearance in the top 10 after taking the title in Mexico F11.  And an old familiar name takes his familiar place in the top 10: Tati Rascon played in just his third event of the year, Spain F22, and won it.  Like Bojan Vujic, two spots above him, Rascon doesn't play much, but when he does it is with great success.
