Sorry for being a week late...I'll keep it short.  Gilles Simon takes over for most matches played.  He did it by taking the title at Algeria F2.  Joshua Goodall also makes a big jump, qualifying for and reaching the finals in Korea F1.  Goodall was unranked at the time!
