Weekly Records Report - 8/4/03

Matches Played
Not much activity at the top of the standings.  Nicolas Almagro took the week off and Ivan Navarro-Pastor withdrew from Spain F16.  Miguel Angel Lopez-Jaen lost in the first round at the Trani challenger so is now 1 match behind Almagro.  Vincenzo Santopadre got in a few and is now 6th.  Nicolas Mahut of France moves into the top 10 at #10.

Winning Percentage
Sergei Yaroshenko of Ukraine takes temporary hold of first place.  He just started playing this year at the Ukraine satellite and won the second week.  He did not play the first week because he was busy playing Davis Cup and getting his first win of the year.  After the second leg, Yaroshenko's record was 7-0.  Then he lost in the second round of the third leg but it is still enough to hold an 8-1 record and have the highest winning percentage at the moment.  Agassi actually slips after losing in the semifinals at Washington.  Guillermo Coria has won 15 in a row and not moves into the top 10 just behind Juan Carlos Ferrero.  His record now stands at 47-11 on the year.
