Nicolas Almagro got in another couple of matches and another Spaniard, Javier Genaro-Martinez, who was also high on the list for most of last year, qualified for and reached the quarterfinals of Spain F5. So Genaro-Martinez moves into a three-way tied for second with 37 matches on the year. With a couple of Davis Cup matches, Roger Federer moves into the top 10 with 32 matches and is the highest top level player in the list.
Last week there were two undefeated players on the list, Zbynek Mlynarik, who, after two straight titles, lost his first match in the second round at Qatar F1. He is now 14-1 and falls behind Andre Agassi. Peter Clarke did reach the semifinals at USA F7 but got no further and is now 8-1. But Davis Cupper from Panama, Chad Valdez, went through the American Zone Group IV competition with a perfect 5-0 record. So he is now our only undefeated player (with 5 or more matches).
