Juan Giner played in one more match this past week, losing in the first round of the Scheveningen challenger. Mario Radic also played one match and takes over sole possession of second place. Yen-Hsun Lu moves all the way to 3rd after reaching the semifinals at Granby.
Guillaume Legat, a 25-year-old from France, had a great week at the France F12 event. As an unranked player, he qualified and then got all the way to the finals before falling to Regis Lavergne. Legat had made only one other appearance this year, and that was in France F4 qualifying where he won a couple of matches before losing in the final round. That gives Legat a 2002 record of 9-2, enough to get him into the top 10. Radek Stepanek also closes in after another fine week, qualifying and reaching the semifinals in Gstaad.
